On Making Work
I am a theater director and multidisciplinary artist. Starting as a pianist, I moved into dance and acting before finding my path in directing — drawn by the need to have full authorship over the stories I want to tell.
My practice focuses on developing original work and reimagining existing plays through a contemporary, multidisciplinary lens. I am drawn to societal questions and the complexity of human experience — work that doesn’t just entertain, but challenges.
At a time when genuine liveness — real person-to-person connection — is harder to find, I believe theatre remains our most powerful tool to reassert our humanity. The way technology mediates that liveness (video, live camera, amplified sound) is a recurring thread in my work, one I continue to explore as I forge a hybrid artistic identity.
Collaboration is at the heart of everything I do. I strive for truly horizontal creative environments where every voice matters and every talent has room to grow. My goal is always to stay open, experiment freely, and push toward the impossible.
Ever tried. Ever failed. No matter. Try Again. Fail again. Fail better.
— Samuel Beckett
